At 924 Cherry Street a community of grassroots social movement organizations are sharing office space to advance their work for social, racial and economic justice in Philadelphia. Movement Alliance Project, Youth Art & Self-Empowerment Project (YASP), Bonfire Media Collective, Reclaim Philadelphia, 215 People’s Alliance, Big Picture Alliance and Philly SUN anchor 924 Cherry Street with 4,500 square feet of space, shared resources for co-working, meetings, trainings & workshops, and media editing.
Space at the People’s HQ is available for rent by organizations and individuals
Rooms are available for $20/hour or $100/day:
- Large conference room – Capacity 20
- Small conference room – Capacity 8
- Private meeting room – Capacity 4
- Edit Lab – Capacity 8
- Open space – Capacity 40
Co-working desk space and resources are available at a per-person rate of:
- 2 days a week – $75/month
- 3 days a week – $120/month
- 4-5 days a week – $150/month
The People’s Headquarters is on the 5th floor of a converted warehouse building. The main entrance is accessed via an ADA-compliant ramp, with an elevator that goes to the 5th floor. Inside the office, everything is one level, and flooring is low-pile industrial carpet throughout. We have a single-use wheelchair accessible bathroom available. All of our restrooms are gender-neutral. No ID is necessary to enter the space. We are actively working through a process to make our space fully ADA-compliant and as accessible as possible.
